The course is in 1 year, of which 9 months in Sweden and 3 months in any African country. The course leader for a sustainable world is aimed at the one who wants to participate and take a leading position for a sustainable world. The course is based on theories of change processes. In the course, you study economically, ecologically and socially sustainable development thematically. Within each sub-area, we address topical issues such as the emerging world economy, fair trade (with the opportunity to become a Fair Trade ambassador), social companies, gender, anti-racism, and sustainable lifestyle. How does a leadership look that can manage all these difficult issues? We believe that democratic, co-operative leadership is the right way to go and that social media can be an effective way of influencing democratic processes. The school emphasizes the participants' responsibility both for their own and the group's learning. Work in small groups is interspersed with discussions, lectures, practical exercises, and study visits. The school invites up-to-date lecturers who work with the questions in their everyday lives and make study visits to organizations that try to change and educate.
